Most items can be accepted for return or exchange. Evening dresses (except for Alex Evenings) priced at $100 or more cannot be returned or exchanged. Returnable item(s) must be unused and unaltered, in their original condition (all tags attached) and returned within 30 days. Store credit will be issued on returned items that are priced $25.00 or less. Returns that arrive after 30 days from the day the package was received by the customer, will receive store credit for only the current selling price. If an order is returned after 60 days a 25% fee will be accessed. We will refund ground shipping costs if the return is the result of our error. Returns are processed and an email notification is sent within 6-8 business days from when the return arrives at our warehouse.

If we shipped you an item in error, or if the item is damaged, we will reimburse you for the ground shipping cost. You must e-mail us at myorder@alight.com prior to returning the item(s). Damaged (wrong) item(s) will be returned to a different address than the one below. We will provide you instructions on how to ship it and where to ship it. alight will only reimburse the actual ground shipping cost on damaged (wrong) item(s) returns. Other fees (delivery confirmation, insurance, packing, etc.) incurred beyond the actual ground shipping cost will not be reimbursed.

HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ORDER

    1. Complete the Return/Exchange Form - The return form is on the back of the packing slip. Return the entire Packing Slip that arrived with your shipment. If you do not have the packing slip, please print your order confirmation email and include it with your return. List the items that you are returning. See below for exchange information. Please note: You do not need a reason code for a return or exchange.

    2. Pack Your Return - Pack the items. Mail the package to:

    Please note returns/exchanges for Queen Grace, Taffy, ABA Activewear are not sent to the St. Louis address. Return instructions were included with your shipment for Queen Grace, Taffy and ABA Activewear items.

    3. Ship your Return - alight recommends you track your return so that you may confirm that we have received it. The U.S. post office offers delivery confirmation for an additional fee. Also, we strongly suggest you insure your return. This protects you in case the shipment is damaged or lost in transit. Just take your package to a U.S. post office service window and a representative can add these options for you. If you elect to use another carrier to ship your return, we recommend you use a carrier such as UPS or FedEx that provides tracking information.
    ALIGHT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES.

    4. Check your e-mail - We will send you an email to notify you that your return has been processed. You should expect the credit in your account 5-10 days after we have processed your return. If a coupon was used with the order, the coupon may be voided on certain conditions. For example, if a coupon for $5.00 off of minimum purchase of $25.00 was used and the items kept do not total $25.00, then the coupon will be voided and the $5.00 deducted from the credit due.

    EXCHANGES
    You can also exchange your item for a different size or color or for a different item. When filling in the return information, just indicate the style name, size and color that you want. We will ship you the new item upon receipt of the returned merchandise. If the item you are requesting is not available, we will notify you via e-mail.

    There is no additional out-going shipping charge on exchanges for items priced $25.01 or higher. The exchange must be received within 30 days of purchase. PLUS if you decide to add to your order at that time, the additional item(s) will also be shipped free. This courtesy is extended only once on an exchange where the original order incurred shipping costs. A shipping fee will be charged when the return items to be exchanged were merchandise priced $25.00 or less. A coupon cannot be used on an exchange order. Exchanges where expedited shipping is requested or for shipments to international addresses, AK,HI or US territories will not receive free shipping. When an order is returned past 30 days and a exchange is requested, a shipping fee will be assessed and the value of the item(s) returned will be based on the current price. If the exchange order is returned, a store credit will be issued if 30 days has elapsed since the original order was received.

    STATUS OF MY RETURN
    Depending on the method you use to send the item(s) to us, it can take up to 7-10 business days for us to receive your return. You should expect to receive an email with the details regarding your return within 4-6 business days from the date your return arrived.

    Please note: returns of ABA Activewear, Taffy Activewear,and Queen Grace items will be sent to a different address. The address to return items from these vendors was included in your shipments. If you need their address, please contact us at myorder@alight.com.

    If you have not received a credit to your account within 20 business days after you shipped it, please e-mail us at myorder@alight.com. Please include your full name, order number, the date you returned it, how you returned it (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and the delivery confirmation or tracking number.

    GIFT RETURNS
    If you are returning a gift, we will automatically credit the credit card used by the purchaser or issue store credit to the purchaser. We cannot issue a credit to a different card then the one used for the purchase.

    MISCELLANEOUS
    Pre-orders are orders placed on merchandise that is not in stock for immediate delivery but will be shipped at the date indicated on the site or via email. By placing a pre-order, you will be receive your order once the item becomes available. In order to reserve the item for you, your card will be charged at the time of the pre-order. All pre-orders are final sale and cannot be cancelled.

    If a wrong shipping option was selected (e.g. you live in Australia and you select the USA shipping option), we will adjust the order and charge the correct shipping fee.
    All shipping, handling and credit card transaction fees that we incur on orders with the wrong address and on refused or canceled orders are non-refundable. If an order ships to an address that you provided and is returned to us as undeliverable, we will charge a new ship fee to resend the order. While we strive to insure that all pricing information is accurate, we are not obligated to honor a price that was listed incorrectly.

    Please note that all evening/party dresses can be shipped via 2 day air. However the order may not ship for 1-2 days from the date the order is approved. Due to the heavier weight and larger box size used for evening dresses and twin sets, a $10 fee will be added to the shipping total.

    For Calito dress purchases only - If you live in the US, we will add an additional $12 to your shipping fee to cover the cost of international shipping.

    The original shipping fee and the return fee you incur are not refundable except as noted in the top paragraph.

    UPS charges a $10 fee for address changes or corrections. If an address change is requested or made by UPS for an order that has already shipped, the $10 UPS fee will be charged.

    Store credits are valid for one year from issue date.
