The new ways of working set to free your workforce

Transformation trending and the recent workplace trends

In this guide, we look at the emerging workplace transformation trends brought on by both the pandemic and the push for continuous innovation.

Work as we know it may have changed forever — especially following the COVID-19 pandemic. Virtual tools and technology have pushed connectivity and productivity forward by several years as remote working becomes a normal aspect of our daily lives. There are many positives that have been brought about by this catalyst for change. But in this new landscape, organisations also face a growing list of challenges.

Employee engagement is now more vital than ever for business success. As companies re-evaluate priorities, they must look towards health and wellbeing. Flexible working has been an enabler for many people worldwide to spend more time with their families, prioritise exercise, healthy eating and enjoy free time. However, with flexible working also comes the need for companies to ensure they are doing everything in their power to keep their people feeling integrated and listened to by fellow employees and leadership teams. As well as this, many are now choosing to work as freelancers to facilitate this flexibility and the rise of the gig economy is leading to a changing dynamic in the employee/employer relationship. With remote working comes other challenges too, as the pressure to find and onboard new talent is becoming increasingly difficult.
