Alight, Inc., a leading cloud-based human capital technology and services provider, and Workday, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, today announced they have successfully deployed Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) at international consumer goods group, PZ Cussons.
PZ Cussons is a FTSE250 listed manufacturer and brand building business with trusted and well-loved household brands in hygiene, baby and beauty categories including Carex, Imperial Leather, Original Source, Cussons Baby, Sanctuary Spa, St. Tropez, Morning Fresh and Premier.
The organisation has just under 3,000 people across operations in Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Africa. The business needed to build up its global HCM capabilities to drive greater efficiency and insights across its international workforce and enable its ambitious employee retention and acquisition goals.

Alight’s dedicated team of consultants worked jointly with PZ Cussons to ensure a strong understanding of the business's corporate, departmental, geographic, and technological needs. This was key in enabling Alight to effectively guide PZ Cussons through the implementation process and arrive at a solution that met the group’s specific requirements.
Phase one of the platform deployment, which went live in February 2022, delivered core HCM capabilities, including benefits, onboarding, time tracking, recruiting, and absence. Phase two is delivering further capabilities to allow the business to monitor talent, reinforce a learning culture and support advanced compensation.
