Code of conduct
Our culture of integrity and compliance reflects the principles and guidance established in our Code of Conduct, shaping the way we do business. The Code establishes the expectations and standards for ethical conduct at Alight and covers several key topics.
Compliance
Our culture of integrity is further supported by policies and practices that promote transparency, neutrality and responsible innovation. This includes our Whistleblower policy, which outlines procedures for addressing concerns; our decision not to engage in corporate political contributions or sponsor a PAC; and our commitment to the ethical, secure and safe use of AI.

AI governance
Alight is committed to using AI responsibly, ensuring fairness, accuracy and ethical oversight. Our AI Governance Board oversees the development, implementation and impact of AI across Alight’s platforms and ensures AI applications are free from bias, maintain data privacy and enhance user experience.
Platform accessibility
Alight believes technology should empower people, enabling seamless, inclusive and secure access to benefits, financial tools and healthcare services. We set high standards to design and build products with inclusivity in mind that are easy to understand and that benefit everyone.
Data security and privacy
At Alight, safeguarding business assets and personal data is central to our technology strategy. We implement robust, industry-leading measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our systems and information.
Global information security policy
Our Global Information Security Policy defines the standards that guide our security and data protection practices. It’s a foundational part of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring consistency and accountability across our global operations.
Customer privacy

Employee training and compliance
Security is everyone’s responsibility. All Alight colleagues complete regular training to stay informed about evolving threats and best practices. This empowers our teams to protect both our operations and client data effectively.
Business resilience
Alight is dedicated to proactively identifying, assessing and mitigating risks to ensure long-term business continuity and operational resilience. Our comprehensive approach to resilience is built on preparedness, responsiveness, protecting our people and a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring we can adapt quickly and effectively to any disruption.
Business resilience strategy
We follow industry best practices to maintain a robust business resilience program. This includes formal policies and procedures to guide continuity during emergencies, training and knowledge-sharing to embed resilience across our organization and scenario planning and documentation to prepare for significant disruption.
Alight Response Center (ARC)
The ARC is our 24/7 global command center, activated during natural disasters, emergencies or other critical events. It delivers real-time support, expert incident management and coordinated communication to ensure colleague safety and business continuity.
Environmental strategy

Alight is committed to minimizing our environmental impact by focusing on areas where we can make the greatest difference, like reducing emissions and transitioning to 100% renewable electricity by 2032 and having validated science-based targets to achieve net-zero by 2050.

Supplier management
At Alight, our supply chain is critical to the success of our business. We are committed to an ethical, sustainable and responsibly managed supply chain where suppliers comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, meet legal and regulatory requirements and support socially responsible business practices. We work with vendors across sectors and intentionally manage these relationships to align with Alight’s purpose and values.
Supplier security compliance
Protecting information and maintaining trust are fundamental to how we work with suppliers. We evaluate suppliers through a robust onboarding and risk assessment process and require applicable vendors to meet data security and privacy requirements that support the protection of information and business assets.

We believe collaboration with suppliers is essential to advancing shared sustainability goals and building a more resilient value chain. Through our Supplier Sustainability Program, we communicate expectations, encourage transparency and support suppliers in aligning their sustainability efforts with responsible business practices and climate-related objectives.
