Alight recognized by Seramount’s Inclusion Index for inclusive workplace environment

Alight, a leading cloud-based human capital and technology services provider today announced it has been named to Seramount’s sixth annual Inclusion Index. The Inclusion Index measures organizations in three key areas: best practices in the recruitment, retention, and advancement of people from underrepresented groups; inclusive corporate culture, including leadership accountability; and demographic diversity for women and racial/ethnic minorities.

 

Alight was among the 54 organizations of the 175 that were judged to be recognized for creating an inclusive workplace based on this criterion.

Over the past two years Alight has launched several colleague-led communities (CLCs) designed to serve as employee resource groups to build more cultural awareness, professional development and networking opportunities among colleagues. The CLCs are an integral component of Alight's commitment to drive change in diversity and inclusion by:

  • Sharing knowledge and acting as a bridge across cultural issues
  • Working as an employee support system providing education, personal growth, information and idea sharing
  • Assisting with recruitment and retention efforts
  • Supporting managerial effectiveness, leadership development, succession planning and communication with colleagues
