St. John's Location Land Acknowledgement

We at Alight Solutions (Alight) recognize our corporate responsibility toward reconciliation, and it is with intention that we respectfully acknowledge the territory on which we gather as the ancestral homelands of the Beothuk, and the island of Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland) as the ancestral homelands of the Mi’kmaq and Beothuk. We would also like to recognize the Inuit of Nunatsiavut and NunatuKavut and the Innu of Nitassinan, and their ancestors, as the original people of Labrador.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we honour Indigenous histories, worldviews, and cultures, and recognize all First Peoples who were here before us, those who live with us now, and the seven generations to come.
