Alight Solutions, a leading cloud-based provider of integrated digital human capital and business solutions, has been selected as the winner of the “TeleHealth Innovation Award” in the fifth annual MedTech Breakthrough Awards program. The independent market intelligence organization tracks leading technologies and products in the global health and medical market, and the awards program relies on an expert panel of judges to identify breakthrough innovations.
Alight’s platform for virtual expert medical opinions received recognition for its proprietary technology that allows for two or more physician specialists to collaborate on rendering an opinion for the most complex cases — often involving oncology or musculoskeletal-related diagnoses. The platform enables Alight’s expert physician network, made up of over 2,000 of the nation’s top specialists, to work together on assigned cases, coordinating responses to the patient’s questions by specialty area, and delivering a multidisciplinary opinion in unison. The expert multidisciplinary team is also available to individuals on an ongoing basis, as well as to their treating providers for peer-to-peer consultations.
