Cathinka Wahlstrom named president and chief commercial officer of Alight Solutions

Alight Solutions, a leading cloud-based provider of integrated digital human capital and business solutions, today announced that Cathinka Wahlstrom has been named president and chief commercial officer. Cathinka will be responsible for accelerating Alight’s growth strategy, leading all aspects of its commercial organization, including North America sales, strategic accounts, channels and partnerships and marketing. She will report to CEO Stephan Scholl.

Cathinka joins Alight from Accenture where she served in various leadership roles for more than 26 years. Most recently she was the senior managing director of Accenture’s client accounts in North America, responsible for building and growing relationships with the world’s leading companies across all industries operating in the United States and Canada. Cathinka was also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee, the primary governance group responsible for setting the firm’s global strategy and priorities. Before this role, Cathinka was the senior managing director of Accenture’s Financial Services business in North America, including the North America portion of Accenture’s $8B+ Financial Services practice.

She was the president of the Accenture Foundation; the Co-founder of the New York FinTech Innovation Labs; the executive sponsor responsible for providing executive coaching for organizations support by the Robin Hood Foundation, NYC’s largest poverty-fighting organization. Cathinka is an alumna of the David Rockefeller Fellows Program; a Business Council member of HERE to HERE, a Bronx-based nonprofit organization; and a Board member of the New York City Ballet.
